Indonesian based in Leuven, Belgium.

I have been teaching since 2007 and doing photography manually since 2014, frame by frame, exploring the world with curiosity and patience.

From primary school through my teenage years, I filled notebook after notebook with stories, like a young novelist in the making. Everyone knew me as the “storyteller” or “school writer”, and my stories had been read by the whole school and other schools. Those early years of storytelling shaped me, eventually leading me to write for magazines and even win a few competitions.

These days, I want to age well. I have a lot of full notebooks and messy sketchbooks. I move mindfully through life by practicing Pilates, embracing a slow-living, minimalistic lifestyle and letting nature inspire me from the Arctic quiet beauty to the dramatic peaks of the Dolomites. I am currently exploring ceramics with some help from Academie SLAC Leuven and Corrie Bain International Ceramics School in Barcelona, Spain.

Everything I create here is inspired by how I observe the world around me and the stories it holds.
